Did Hughie just forget that A-Train killed his girlfriend or something? Character inconsistencies This has become more noticeable as the series has gone on. Entire character devices appear and disappear on an episode-by-episode basis. Remember when A-Train developed a heart condition which crippled his abilities? Apparently that's not relevant anymore, and we're given no explanation as to why. And then we have parts of Season 2 where Starlight is becoming more ruthless, like when she callously uses Gecko or when she literally kills a man - the latter of which, you'd think would be a big deal. But it never gets raised again, and next episode she's back to her usual self! No guilt, no self-reflection, no noticeable changes in her demeanor. Remember when Becca had a sister? Also Hughie - in Season 1, he blew up Translucent and later commented that it "felt kinda good". This aspect of his character has just been completely, totally, utterly abandoned. In Season 2 he's long abandoned his quest for revenge and now seems to be a complete pacifist.
